Beachfront Names Former Oath Executive Chris Maccaro CEO

Maccaro Bolsters Relationships with Tier One Publishers and Brands for Beachfront’s Premium Video Advertising Platform for Connected TV, Desktop & Mobile

NEW YORK — October 2nd, 2018 —  Connected TV (CTV), desktop and mobile viewing are converging and driving an explosion in over-the-top (OTT) premium video advertising. Meanwhile, Roku has a $7 billion market cap on the strength of ad-supported CTV growth. Enter Beachfront, the premium video advertising company for the connected device age, which today announced the appointment of Chris Maccaro as CEO.

Beachfront, the company former Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and her PSP Partners invested a majority stake in late in 2017, was built from the ground up for premium mobile, desktop and TV viewing everywhere, creating a compelling allure for a media executive with the pedigree of Maccaro. He brings invaluable knowledge into what an evolving supply-side platform (SSP) for top publishers must do to facilitate premium video ad transactions at scale, programmatically.

Previous to his most recent role at Oath, Maccaro was Vice President of Field Sales for North America at Yahoo, where he led the advertising sales team focused on serving Yahoo’s tier one advertisers across multiple verticals. Prior to that, he was the Vice President and Industry Lead for the Finance category. All told, he has more than 20 years of experience in digital media and advertising.
