Supply Partner Policy
This policy applies to sellers (“Media Company”, “You”) of advertising inventory on all types of digital and TV media properties owned, operated, controlled or otherwise represented by Media Company, including, websites, apps, connected TV, set-top box and linear TV (collectively, the “Sites”) for the placement of advertisements (“Ads”) thereon via the Beachfront Media, LLC (“Beachfront”) platform and services (the “Beachfront Platform”) and forms a part of the agreement entered into between You and Beachfront in relation to your use of the Beachfront Platform.
PRIVACY
- Each Site must have a privacy policy that complies with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including with respect to data protection and privacy.
- You must disclose clearly, and obtain effective consent for (if required under applicable law), any data collection, sharing, and usage that occurs on any Sites as a result of your use of the Beachfront Platform. In particular, You must provide end users with clear and comprehensible information about, and obtain effective consent for (if required under applicable law), the use of technologies such as cookies on the end user’s device, where such activity occurs through Your use of the Beachfront Platform. You must provide users with an opportunity to opt out of data collection for advertising purposes, and must pass any opt out choice to Beachfront.
- With respect to any Sites originating in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, You shall not send or transmit any Ad requests that contain or reflect: (a) any special categories of personal data (as set forth in Article 9(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), including but not limited to data related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, health status, or sexual orientation, or (b) any personal data relating to criminal convictions or offenses (as described in Article 10 of the GDPR).
- You must ensure that any Ad request does not contain any information that enables direct identification of an end user ). Ad requests must only contain cookie or device related identifiers (including mobile device IDs and connected TV device IDs).
- With respect to any Sites originating in the United States, You shall comply with the Video Privacy Protection Act and shall obtain all applicable end user consents prior to passing any video content viewing behavior (“Viewed Content Data”) to Beachfront. You shall notify end users that you engage in Viewed Content Advertising, provide users with an opportunity to opt out and pass any opt out choice to Beachfront. Beachfront shall be permitted to pass any Viewed Content Data to its buyers and technology vendors, except where an opt out choice has been passed to Beachfront.
- If Your Ad request includes precise location information (meaning information that identifies an area no larger than a city block, such as obtained through GPS, WiFi, or Bluetooth signals), You must obtain opt-in consent via an interstitial or just-in-time notice for the use of such information for advertising purposes. In obtaining such consent, You must disclose to users: (1) the purposes for which the data will be used (e.g. for targeted advertising, attribution, and/or analytics); and (2) that you will disclose precise location information to advertising partners for such purposes. Your privacy policy must further disclose that you share precise location information with advertising technology companies.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITES
- All impressions must result from genuine user interest. Impressions that are generated through prohibited means or that are intended to artificially increase impression counts, are considered impression fraud or invalid impressions. We strictly prohibit any method whatsoever designed to fraudulently, deceptively, or artificially inflate the number of impressions, clicks, or other payable actions.
- These prohibited methods include, but are not limited to, hidden or unreadable content, repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, traffic exchange, and click-exchange services or any other deceptive software and offering any incentives to interact with an Ad or otherwise Site behavior in any manner that is prohibited pursuant to this Supply Partner Policy.
- Impressions deemed to be invalid will not be included in your earnings. Beachfront has the right to make a determination of invalid impressions in its sole discretion.
- If your Site is located in or on an application (including a mobile application), you must not: (a) substantially overwrite the Ad placements on any third party media via such application; or (b) rearrange the content of any third party media via such application.
AD REQUESTS
- All Ad inventory You make available on the Sites through the Beachfront Platform must be completely and accurately described in Ad requests, and may not be misrepresented in any way. Without limitation, this means Ad inventory attributes, including referring URLs, app bundles or IDs, ad formats and sizes, client characteristics (IP addresses, user agents, device IDs, geolocation data), and Payment ID or pchain data, must be correct. However, zeroing out the last octet of client IP addresses, restricting precision of geolocation information, or other redaction as strictly necessary to prevent the transmission of personally identifiable information is acceptable. You may not omit any mandatory information.
- You may not engage in bid jamming. That is, you may only send us a single Ad request via a given integration for any particular impression opportunity on a given placement and Ad size. For example, if We do not fill a particular Ad request, You may not then issue a subsequent request with the same fundamental characteristics except for the price floor.
PROHIBITED SITE CONTENT
The Sites shall not contain any of the following types of content:
- Content that promotes, contains, or provides access to content that violates applicable laws or any third-party's intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to):
- Piracy, torrents, or unauthorized downloads of copyrighted materials
- Controlled substances, including illegal drugs and paraphernalia
- Gambling
- Malware and viruses
- Content that depicts, contains, or provides access to offensive content (including, but not limited to):
- Pornographic or adult materials
- Exploitative materials
- Threats, harassment, bullying, or content suggestive of violence
- Content that is discriminatory or is designed to incite hatred
- Content that is misrepresentative
- Explicit language
- Unmoderated user-generated content
- Content that lacks originality or does not add value for users, including auto-generated content or content primarily copied from other sources
- Any content designed for the sole purpose of generating Ad impressions
- No Sites shall be directed to children, as defined by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and associated regulations, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Beachfront
- Content that compensates users for clicking on Ads or offers, performing searches, or surfing websites
RESTRICTED SITE CONTENT
Without Beachfront’s prior written consent, the Sites shall not contain any of the following types of content:
- Alcohol
- Tobacco or tobacco products
- Prescription drugs and cannabis
- Firearms, weapons, and ammunition
AD PLACEMENT RESTRICTIONS
The Ads must be placed on the Sites in accordance with the following guidelines:
- Ads are not permitted to obstruct or overlap content, or otherwise hinder the user from engaging with the content
- Ad placement that directly or indirectly causes accidental clicks is prohibited
- Ads and other paid promotional material are not permitted to exceed the amount of Site content. Site content must be the primary focus of any page on which Ads are placed
- Ads may not be auto-refreshed below a minimum interval of 30 seconds, and may only be refreshed if actively viewable
- Ad placements must be implemented as per instructions from Beachfront. Any implementation providing inaccurate information in requests, including sending multiple requests for a single Ad slot, is prohibited
- Any modification to Ad code altering the standard behaviour, targeting, or delivery of the Ads is prohibited
- Ads may not be placed on the following types of Sites:
- Sites with personally identifiable information in the URL string
- Sites with no content
- Login pages, Thank you pages, Exit pages or Error pages
- Sites that change user preferences or browser settings, or that initiates downloads without the user’s consent
- Sites that redirect users to unwanted websites or other media
- Sites that contain or load pop-ups or popunders
- Rotating video inventory that is loaded into display inventory slots
- Sites that contain content that violates the above Prohibited and Restricted Site Content Policies
- Ad shall not be placed on Passive CTV applications (e.g. screensavers)
- Ads may only be placed on pages requiring a login with express approval from Beachfront
- Ad sizes, formats, and layouts must be appropriate for the device type (for example, no 970x250 Ads on smartphones)
- Video Ad inventory must represent linear video placements or authorized and properly declared formats such as outstream units. In-banner video is never acceptable.
- Placements must comply with the Better Ads Standards, and sites or apps may not engage in any of the “least preferred ad experiences” as identified by the Coalition for Better Ads.
TRANSPARENCY
- You must not make available any Ad inventory that is not fully transparent to Beachfront, without Beachfront’s prior written consent. We require full transparency in order to be able to assess the quality of the Ad inventory that You are making available. Similarly, You must accurately represent the location of your inventory to Beachfront to enable Beachfront to assess the quality of your inventory.
- The URL or app ID/bundle that You deliver to Beachfront must be where the Ad will be displayed.
- You may not make Ad inventory available in double iframes.
