This Website Privacy Policy explains how Beachfront Media, LLC (“BFM” or “we”) collects personal information through our website at https://www.beachfront.com (“Site”), in the course of our sales and marketing activities and when you provide us your information by telephone or email or at an in-person event or otherwise engage with us through any website or application in which this Website Privacy Policy is linked or referenced and how BFM uses and shares the personal information.

Information you provide to us

Certain parts of our Site may ask that you voluntarily provide us with personal information. For example, we may ask you to provide us your name, address, telephone number or email address and contact preferences when you subscribe to our marketing communications, schedule a demo or request more information about the Services. If you choose to correspond with us through email, we collect and retain other information that you send us, such as the content of your email message and our response.
 
When you apply for a job with BFM, we collect the employment-related information you submit, such as job preferences, work history and similar information provided in your application.

Information we collect when visiting our Website

When you interact with our Site and marketing emails, we may collect certain information. Some of this information is personal information under certain laws. We may collect this information using cookies or similar tracking technology as outlined in the section below, “How we use cookies and similar tracking technology on the site”.

Our Policy On Do Not Track Signals. We retain personal information that we collect through the Site for as long as we have a legitimate business need to do so and, when we no longer have a legitimate business need, we dispose of personal information in accordance with applicable law.

CHOICES ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you receive marketing emails from us, you can opt out at any time by clicking the opt-out or unsubscribe link in the marketing email. Once you opt out, we will no longer send you marketing emails but still may send you emails with transactional information related to your BFM account.

We are committed to continually examining and reviewing our privacy practices, and may make changes to this Privacy Policy. In the event that any changes that we believe are material are made to the company’s privacy practices, we will post a dated revised Privacy Policy on this Site.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

The Site may include links to third party websites, applications, widgets and other online services that are not operated by us. For example, if you submit your information to a job listing service in response to our job posting, the privacy policy of the job listing service applies unless/until we receive your personal information from them. When you use a third party website or service linked to the Site, you are subject to its privacy practices and policies, not ours. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by BFM through the Site.   

Please note, too, that BFM requires sellers of advertising inventory through the BFM Platform to post their own privacy policies.  

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Neither this Site nor the Service is directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. No sensitive segments or segments are targeted at children. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personally identifiable information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy@beachfront.com. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete such information from our files.  

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Our servers are located in the United States and some of the vendors and other third parties with which we share personal information are located in and may transfer personal information to other jurisdictions. These other jurisdictions may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your place of residence (and, in some cases, not as protective). When we or our agents transfer personal information across jurisdictional border, we use appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information is protected in accordance with applicable law, such as implementing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information with our customers based in the EU.
